Entry #2. The day I bought a soul

11/22/17

My first car!
That was the day my parents decided to surprise me with the idea that they wanted to buy me a new car! It was really exciting for me because I have never experienced getting a new car before! The car I had at the time was a 2006 Nissan Pathfinder. I loved this car so much! I loved how big the car was, it was the ultimate squad car considering that it seated 7!
Unfortunately, The Booshie "Bougie" Wagon as all my friends would call it, started to break down :( Since the transmission was going to cost in the thousands to replace my parents decided it would be smarter to retire the Pathfinder and get me a new one.

When it came time to actually start looking for a new car it became very overwhelming very quick. I couldn't really decide on what car I wanted. At the time I wanted a Honda Civic or a Kia Soul. The first dealership I went to was Arrowhead Honda which is where I test drove the Civic and turns out I didn't like it at all! I didn't like how low I was to the ground and how my hair was nearly rubbing against the roof. After I decided the Civic wasn't going to be the car for me. We went back to the drawing board and decided to stop at the Kia dealership on our way home. As soon as we turned the corner I saw this Beautiful black Kia Soul on this turn table, rotating at the entrance of the dealership. I was instantly drawn to that car and knew that I wanted that one! I walked over to it and saw that it was in my price range and asked for a test drive. I fell in love with it instantly! flash forward to almost a year and I still love my car as much as I did the first day I got it!

My new car!

  2. Hey Justin! First off, sweet new ride(even for a KIA). :) Second, my oldest brother Austin went to look at the honda civic(he is 6'2") it did not go over so well. Lol he could barely make it in and out of the car. This was fun to read!
